I've seen a band called Abby Road who are amazingly like the "Beatles" from the music to clothing to hairstyles. Another beatles band is Hal Bruce and Ticket To Ride. They do great beatles music. Gotta like the Beatles eh.

"Hells Bells" that did the band to a T. The guy even looked like Angus.Anyway just my 2 cents worth.

Hey Johnoconnar. I like you could not get the strum, but after
one year and nine months of practice two to four hours a day
and any free time I can get 'it's startring to come along just fine . Glad my wife has patience and a good sense of humor.
Like I've read here on chordie practice is key.Wish I had of picked up guitar earlier in life. Oh well you gotta start somewhere.

Good morning Lena. Your post on country music is a good one. Country music to me is most of the older artists that were mentioned in this thread.I have a few books on country music and find them to be very interesting. You know I'm more of a blues guy but like country as well.
How's your garden? Gem says hello to you.

Thats pretty cool Zurf. I'm a big Joe Walsh fan. When we saw him in Plattsburg he played 14 different guitars and of course I was right in the front row.He is truly an amazing guitar player.

about ten years ago i met Dutch Mason "The Prime Minister of the Blues" at a kitchen party. What fun we had singing and blowing blues harp till the wee hours of the morning.
also met Joe Walsh in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire when he was on tour. He played so well we followed him to Plattsburg, New York for his next gig. He rememberd us from the previous nite. My wife took a picture of me at Woodstock
'94 beside a lemosene[Big Car] When the window rolled down it was Bob Dylan . What a thrill.I did'nt get to meet him but got close.
