I have been trying to change my avitar. I croped a new pic to the required size, tried the change button and selected new pic, old pic still is there but distorted. then tried deleating it and reuploading the one I want, old pic came back still distorted...
So what am I not doing correctly? its bugging me now.
no use for twitter. Face Book is good for me. I still like picking up a phone and talking to people. I just text them to see if they can talk. LOLOL
Ouch that sucks!,,,
I only buy "GO" phones and they are only text and talk. No need to get a "smart" phone. 80 bucks, and I relocate my sim card from phone to phone since everything is saved on the card. GO phones are ATT so it works with my plan. I just toss the sim card that comes with the phone in the trash.
W/ out the stooges and Laural and Hardy, modern movies wouldnt know how to do slapstick. Disney wouldnt have a mold to follow either.. almost all their cartoons have some spin off of the afore mentioned guys.
I have not seen it yet but want to. thanks for the review.
I've got a 400+ CD library on there that I still can't get to since the latest I-Tunes update.
Get rid of Itunes completly,, I wont allow it on any of my computers.
Try the free version of Media Monkey. I have been using it forever. but ,,,, then they went and changed it to where it looks like I tunes. WHY????? There is noting wrong with the program,, It just looks too busy for me. but if your used to I tunes, then it may not be an issue.
I have actually gone back to WMP 10. Or whatever the latest version is.
I would still like the previous Media monkey. But what can you do?
Your heart is on your sleeve, and this is a good place to wear it when It come to your kids. They see and they know it. Nice song/poem. I wish you luck.
Casey is one of the coolest and laid back people I have ever met. When He still lived in Cool Tx, He would play teh bars and the coffee shop in my town, (Mineral Wells). My youngest son would sit on a stool right near him and Casey would talk to him all the time. In my sons opinion they were "tight" LOLOL
He is so taleted I am happy to see him getting well deserved attention. His New CD is pretty good too,, Was hoping for more heavy blues like his band from home ,,,,but ... Its still got some really good stuff on it!
Most ppl dont realize Iommi and Lita dated, but they would do some great live jams. Lita does not get much credit for her guitar work. Mainly due to 80s vids making her a bombshell face not a guitarist.

M.B. wrote:...but I liked Robbie Robertson's smile best. On the other hand, Eric Clapton had a really cute purple velvet jacket . . . but Robbie had a killer scarf, so I'm going with him. Yeah.
That was good. My wife insisted on buying our last car purely because she liked the tail lights, so I can relate.
Here's a pretty good guitar war: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_icctfc … ure=fvwrel
BTW, Macchio is actually being overdubbed by Ry Cooder.
After this movie, I went searching for Vi, I could only find an EP called Flexable. bought it. Freaking blew me away!
Ill keep mine at two though I love the early stuff, The two I really like are
While my guitar gently weeps and
Norwegian Wood - the bird has flown.
Thoes two always pop up at unexpected times while zoning out or driving (and day dreaming ).
DONT KNOW WHERE THE TAB IS BUT HAVE YOU EVER HEARD " FADE TO BLUEGRASS"

Wish I could make it! I grew up in WV. Born in Elkins and lived most the time in Huntington. was neat to see this is near Beckley. I really miss the beauty of the mountains.
If all goes well Ill be in Western NC (Asheville) during that time frame. Yep still in teh mountains,,, but W(BY GOD) V holds a special place in my heart.
Is John Denver A requirement at the campfire jam?
In a similar case, I was in one of my trusted guitar shops, I was in there when an old guy brought in a banjo and two other nice flat tops. He just wanted to sell them outright. I know how much was paid for each. Two weeks later I went in to get the banjo for my wife. (still waiting for her to try and learn it! but thats another story LOLOL)
It was marked up about 125% of what was given for it. I asked John to come down on the price, hell they even charged me for the case it came in. It was still a fair price ,,but I did mention to John I thought it was pretty unfair to charg me extra for the case.
In the end, it was still a good deal, paid about the average price, my wife is happy and I supported the small guy. Its a rough racket to be in and have to compete with the internet and Mega stores. The small guys win because ppl get to know their staff and the staff earns trust on a personal level.
An yea as above. a deal is a deal. for better or worse.
( Dont ever buy a vehicle/trailer with-out a title either,,, WAY more PITA than its worth. even if its a free trailer.)
Cheers!
I watched this a while back and the next 3 links I put there have really been great tools, qand I still can tget it as smooth as Pappa.

A dirty no good Rent a cop!
I am happy to report that my small town of Mineral Wells TX now has a music store. I am wishing him good vibes and luck. Our town is not known for fostering shops like this.
Most of what people in my town concider a place to buy a guitar is Garrets Pawn shop.
( they sell Kona and bunches of other low line brands and charge too much for name brands) and overprice their strings.
Up untill now the only other option was drive 20 miles to the next town and up untill three years ago only had one choice of stores, Who just so happened to snatch up all the major brands and somehow got it so that no other shop in a 50 or so mile radious can be an "authorized dealer" for Fender or Gibson along with many others. (Somehow that just goes against my idea of Free enterprise) And they also over price their stuff. Ex- Strings 2 for 1,, 22 bucks! Really???? for GHS or Dean Markley???? (and the employ's are kind of shall we say arrogant about their shop, w/ the exception of the old guy who repairs vintage amps and effects) So I dont go there unless I absoultly have to.
The other store in that town is a very good set up and all the guys are cool and priced very well and where I spent a lot of $$ in the last two years.
The new local store is pretty modest, about 15 or 20 used guitars on the wall and all priced at a very affordable level and some used amps. He does repairs, is a musician, and has lessons. I took my boys in there to meet him, and we ended up just jamming around for about an hour or so, and he was showing me and the boys stuff. We had fun and the boys want lessons (continue my 10 yr olds guitar lessons and get the 8 yr old on bass).
I really want him to prosper and will spend my extra bucks at his place. Heck, I even told him I had a beater drum kit that I wanted to get rid of and he said bring it down here and just "store it" in my place, it will give us something to jam with. He even agreed to put a for sale sign on it and I told him we could consign it.
So if your passing through Mineral Wells on HWY281, right across from the firehouse is a music store with an old bail bonds sign over it, Stop in and say Hello to Brian.
The petatonic is the very first pattern I ever learned, but it was not until last year with my sons guitar teacher / and a few vids on You Tube that I discoverd the "Blues notes" I just have trouble running them together or using the "Extended" blues / Pentatonic scale.
If you want to hear this in action heck listen to almost any Iron Maiden solo. Almost all the riffs start with the pentatonic, a lot of the early stuff espically. Its the scale most Sabbath riffs are built from also. Its a ROCK scale as well as blues.
( I get lost the min someone say's Midoxylin or Aolieian etc,,, tooo confusing for me)
Cheers!
has a stones feel to it. im thinking ruby tuesday.
try out marty schwartz. (See your e-mail for more info just sent ya a pm)
Here is his web site, and lessons. IDK if you can get in, I may still be running on an old code for being able to see his stuff. http://www.guitarjamz.com/members/guitar-licks.html
I'm kinda like you Jerome and don't play cds. But not exactly for the same reason. LOL, I drive an old Jeep - before the 'modern' age of cds. So it plays cassetts. Luckily, the Jeep came with about 5 tapes (Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Lone Star, etc.), but unluckily the tape player is broke . So I'm stuck with the radio, which is okay, but it only plays one station - and it's definitely not my favorite station... *Sigh* So I just sing.
This is where you do the 80s move, get a type of boom box, and hang it from your roll bar/ set in passinger seat,,, or hey yea, get your mp3 player out and put it on,,,,
OK no comments from the peanut gallery about safety,,, most of us dont hear crap but wind and road with our car tunes on anyway.
Currently I have a Data disk that contains , one song by Grits, My life be like, Betty Blowtorch, Are you man enough, Labertta Sued, The Ramones Anthology, Red Fang, Sex Pistoles, and SKUNKWEED. They are a SanAntonio based comedyish band. here is a clip of a few of their songs:

yep thats some fun music,, but you cant have teh kids in the car! LOLOLOL
ELTON JOHN his greatest hits #2 some of the songs I can play,he has some wild chord changes.
Blame Bernie Taupin! LOLOLOL
in all honesty i never liked marshalls. i played the valve amp and found it lacking in clarity, volume and as soon as you gave it a bit of gusto, it distorted. i have pedals to do that. having said that, i used a bass cabinet for years with no moans. the trannie amp i got with it gave up the ghost after about a year...which is most likely why i wont use them now. give me a good peavy or fender or vox...now there's a good amp.
my condolences to jim's family, it is a sad time as he was an icon to many a dirty guitarist.
I dunno, Have you tried a JVM 410H? My buddy gets every tone he needs out of that amp only thing he has on the floor is a original TS-9, crybaby and a Tuner. maybe some delay on a rack. but its a pretty modest set up. supper clean to dath metal dirty.
I like Vox and Laney also. Fender mmmm sorta. All is good if you get the sound you like:-)
