ok! I have the camera sorted out. the instruction book was next to useless, but found teh correct tabs in skype tools, so barring some minor focus and finding a good position for the camera, im up and running.

I should have said,
Got the skype account, testing camera. its getting signal for skype, sending vid but not sound. I can hook a mic up to puter, but ill give V7 a chance today when I call them. I may be sending this back to newegg. and ill not be a cheapskate. gotta get auto focus if this doesnt work out.
met roger at 3 something this morning,, i could hear him and see him,, he could see me, (once I got it focused!) but not hear me through the camera. I could talk SMS
lap top did not want to use supplied driver disk. once i got that right from website it would not show me a window of what it was doing and or give me an indicator light on camera,,, bothersome!

Will be interesting to see how the 20 dollar camera does.

Yep I did that with Turn the page by Seager. It was also after Metallica covered it,, but I changed it up to suit my playing ability and style,,,,,, At the time all my friends could do was say "dude your not playing it right" Right?? Now what is right for others may not be right for someone else.,,, I still play it the way I always have

@ Bill, NOW that is a song that has kicked my butt for years. I have a big transcrip out of an over sized 101 songs book. It just seems hard for something that sounds so simple! Props to you! Maybe if I sat down 1/1 to learn it it would be better.
AS to the topic of using a stand? I am afflicted with CRS when it comes to stepping outside of a 6 song list. I also have a 4 inch 3 ring binder. it has stuff from this site, cowpie and two song books I cut the binding off of and 3 hole punched. an 3/4th of it is classified,, stuff I want to learn LOLOLOLOOL

Thor was a much better movie than I thought it was going to be. An I dont think any of his fans were worried about the religion aspect. It didn't occure to me as a kid at all. Yea there were GODs,, but hey I knew itwas mythology and sooo cool at the same time.
You also had "Dr. Strange" practioner of the mystic arts, and that along with Vampires is pretty trendy now. But I didnt get into him too much.,,, shhhhhh dont tell FOX or they might try a sH!tty series on it too
