It is I who thank you. I too am tired of wars, they don't prove who is right only who is left.  I'm not a songwriter but I do know what sounds good and "Not The Way" is a great song. I really got into playing along with it, thanks again ark.

Its always so rewarding having a 12er handy for when the mood strikes. The Vintage is a beautiful guitar.

I'm glad you posted pics of the lunar eclipse Amy. We were not bessed with clear skies. Usually my daughter and grand-daughters stay up and hang out for the celestial shows that nature provides. I'll make sure everyone gets to see your photos, thank you Amy.

I hope you both get to feeling better soon. It's good to hear Dondra will be joining us.

"Mac" has a wonderful singing voice, let it ring out girl. Sing for the joy of singing.

How are ya feeling? Everything ok?  I suppose the good news is that it was beating.  I'd hate to have someone tell me mine had stopped.

Yea, a beating heart is good news, I figure as long as I'm 6 feet above ground I'm doing ok.  I thought I was having problems with my pain meds and during one of the preliminary tests the doctors found damage to my heart. We are still waiting for results of all the tests to come back. I don't feel terribly bad but I don't feel well either. It's just a waiting game now. Thank you for your concern.

Just got done having a go at "Seemed like a good idea at the time" It got me to thinkin about all the "good ideas" I've had in the past and how many more are sure to come. My oldest daughter will love it, she is full of "good ideas" too.  Later tonight I give it a whirl on the 12er.

Had an ultra sound test on my heart today, at one point it sounded like a rap beat-I thought "oh crap I'm gonna die".

Another Happy NGD to you jjj. My wife bought a double neck guitar kit for me to build because I need something to do, anxious to get started. The necks do look like Gibsons, always wanted one of these and she always tries to make my wishes come true. Let me know how it plays for you. Pics please!

I've got the neck and fretboard from an old Giannini guitar sitting in the corner. You may have given me a way to put it to use, thanks Bill. I'll have to finish a double neck guitar project first but I'm always looking for ways to keep busy.

Jandle, I like your song just as it is. I'm neither a songwriter or poet but I know what I like. Keep it up.

Now I've got a hunger for sausage in a bun and a yearning to play my guitar, how do I do both at the same time. I'm gonna give it a go on the 12er this afternoon.

Sounds good Nela. Glad to hear it. Go slow on the blue pill.

If it lasts more than four hours you shouldn't have to go the hospital, you should get a trophy and recieve a certificate of achievment instead.

Well said! I hear you TF. I've played and sung to an audience and can't say that I enjoyed it. It's just not my way, I am what I am-no apologies. I play for my own enjoyment, that being said, if I'm out on my porch playing a few songs I don't mind if someone stops to listen, but that won't happen often up here on the ridge. The only other person I've ever played guitar with is my brother (who does enjoy playing to an audience), I'm easily distracted by someone playing a different part and lose my place and tempo. The way I see it, your only obligation is to yourself.

After we have 1 of everything the only thing left is 2 of everything. at least thats what I keep telling wife #3.

KEEP!  Musicator Extraordinaire has a nice ring to it, henceforth let it so be ordained. Go forth and musicate far and wide, over yonder mountains and across the oceans for all to hear.
