There are many different factors that whos to say how low you can drive the price down when buying any guitar. Such as, I have seen instances when a scratch or a ding can knock off a couple hundred dollors. Sometimes you can wheel and deal. It just depends on who your dealing with

I really love the Travling Wilburys. I first bought their alblum on casette tape. I have recently been trying to find thier CD here in the Montreal area with no luck. So if they have a box set coming out I will surely be purchasing it. Thanks for the good news

Congradulations SGman on your new guitar. All the hours you put into practice will pay off ten fold (even more)  Keep your head to the grindstone

Can't really say if this is true for everyone, I found that for me that as I became more experienced I began to prefer thicker picks. I find that a thicker pick gives one more control. Perhaps it's just a matter of personal preference too

One thing you might try. I suggest this to people who ask me to teach them guitar. With your left hand or the hand you use to form your chords, place them gentlly over the strings as to deaden them. (so they don't vibrate) Strum lightly with of course the stuming hand and hum the tune you want to play. Focus on the purcsion sound of the strum. Almost like a purcusionist or drummer if you will. This will help you get the feel of the beat. Hope that was helpful

I have always wanted one of those fat hollowbody Gretch guitars. One like Brian Seltzer. I believe it is the Nashville model.

SGman every time I have played an SG the unbalanced top heavy feel of this guitar just did not feel right to me. Does it not bother you at all. Just curious

Well I have been in contact with SB MacDonald. The guy I had reffered to earlier and I am going to be shipping her off to Long Island, NY. I will let you know when I get her back. This guy is supposed  to be really really good. I sure hope so

I have seen these guitars although I don't recall the make. I am now very curiouse to check one out. The whole concept seems like a great idea. Seems to be the guitar to have for a lugging around instument. I imagine that they must be very durrable
