Hi Phill I saw that programe on BBC Channel4 very interesting. Didn't really know much about Glen Campbell and was surprised to learn what a great guitar player he is as well as a talented singer. The poor guy does have early onset altzhiemers and his memory is starting to fail. He's continuing to perform with surport of his wife and it was inspirational in the way he was coping with his illness.

As I a teen from the Uk in 70's I really enjoyed your little ditty...
I guess all the groups you mentioned in the song were the regulars on Top of the Pops which I rather looked down on at time (As in later life I realised was rather pretentious of me lol) being a big fan of prog rock.
Thanks for posting.

Thx for the answer.. I just want to have whole chords of the demo so that i can import it into my DAW and rearrange it. About the vocal, we will record it again.

There's a website I have used in the past which caters for people who can't play any instruments.
They have whole chord samples of many different instruments which can be mixed to create a song.
Your song may not sound the same but as the voice supplies the melody the basic general feel of the song would be simular. It can be mixed down to an MP3 or individual MP3 tracks to be mixed and combined with the the vocals.
PS I enjoyed the song it has potenial...

If you want to use the original recording so it sounds the same you would need the individual tracks that made up the song.

Hi Russ
Just had a listen to HARDING BLUES on your new guitar the looper is an excellent tool for a back ground track on the fly.
The new guitar sound great with the mods and your skill.

Hi resprod
I had to play around with Chopro to get the song to read right some of the soc tagging formatting was throwing the rest of the posts crazy so I removed them and altered the spacing.

Sorry russ I had to remove the repost of resprod song as it was throwing post underneath crazy hope you don't mind. I guess the song was missing the song tagging at first I did'nt see the original posting.

Hi Noel
Chordie is only a search engine and displays songs hosted on other chord sites.
The song you refer to is hosted at www.guitaretab.com I suggest you go to that site and complain if you think it's not right or you can edit yourself.

Tony.

Hi TIGLJK
I have deleted your duplicate posts no worrys..
We think it's maybe caused by Chordie's website reacting slow to posting.
Another thing If you want to delete a post you'll find it works if you remove the Chopro formatting before deleting it's a glichy thing.
It might be an idea to set up a website to put your songs on then we could all have listen.
Just a thought.

Hi Phill
I read that article about Kenny Samson. Seems like another one like Best and Gazza that just can't cope with life after their professional football careers have wanned and just turn to the bottle.
It seems a shame...
I had a listen and enjoyed and what I heard. I liked the use of the stereo panning at the begining of the song. Remined me of a song from the 70's in a good way..
well done.

Hi Phill
No pun intended. Just a poor choice of words put it down to me being rubbish at written English.
Well done with the song..

Seeing that I'm the self named "Ambient Moderator" I thought I'd post this Ambient piece of music..
Not done much song writing of late as health issues and things have got in the way so to speak.
This is just a pure Chillout with keyboard and guitar mixed around an ambient track.

When I print a song the chords print but NOT the words?????Mike

Another idea..
Check your "print preview" on the file tab to see if the words are there before you print.
If they are there then it's your printer etc. If they are not then email admin to see if there's a problem.

Hi locker14
Welcome to Chordie.
You can't access your songbook offline. You have to be logged in to Chordie to do so.

Hi daddy
I think I know what you mean. You want songs written originally around these chords progressions.
There's probably loads out there if you not done it try a a general internet search with the chords and songs using them just a thought.

Hi

I am also new here and this was the first post that caught my eye because Bm and F give me the most trouble as well. I have been playing a few months and I can hit them when I do it slowly but when playing it is about a 20-30%.

Is there actually a cheat to the Bm chord? or even the B chord?

-Jim

Hi Jim
Sounds like you are doing ok after a few months of playing barre chords take time and practice to get down 100% of the time.
There are different ways of playing them but they require practice as well so IMHO I think it's best to stick with the traditional chord shapes at the start and just keep practicing...  sad

Hi skipperbat
You have to be logged on and signed in to view your "My songbook" which means you have to be online to do so. Your songbook is not downloadable so is not available offline.
A tablet will  work and you can view your songbook but you have to be online with a wifi connection.
