[C] Is it too [G]much to ask
I want a [Am]comfortable bed that won't [F]hurt my back
[C] Food to [G]fill me up
And [Am]warm clothes and [F]all that stuff
[C] Shouldn't I have [Em]this
Shouldn't I have [Am]this
Shouldn't I have [F]all of this, and
[C] Passionate [F]kisses
[C] Passionate [F]kisses, whoa oh oh
[C] Passionate [F]kisses
C C(addF) C | G G(addE) G | Am Am(9) Am | F |
from you
Is it too much to demand
I want a full house and a rock and roll band
Pens that won't run out of ink
And cool quiet and time to think
Shouldn't I have this
Shouldn't I have this
Shouldn't I have all of this, and
Passionate kisses
Passionate kisses, whoa oh oh
Passionate kisses

[Dm7] [guitG]ar [F]sol[F(9]o] [Dm7] [E7] [Am] [G] [G]
Do I want too much
Am I going overboard to want that touch
I shout it out to the night
"Give me what I deserve, 'cause it's my right"
Shouldn't I have this (shouldn't I)
Shouldn't I have this (shouldn't I)
Shouldn't I have all of this, and
Passionate kisses
Passionate kisses, whoa oh oh
Passionate kisses from
C F [the F is actually single notes: C-F-F-F-F-E-D---]
from you
Passionate kisses
Passionate kisses, whoa oh oh
Passionate kisses

Someone met John Jenning's (MCC's guitarist) after a concert and asked
him how he plays this song in concert; he wrote it down in standard musical
notation, someone sent it to me, and I converted it to tablature. (But
there's no guarantee that this is where John Jennings puts his fingers.)
The ">" marks are accents.
[Note that this is NOT the recorded version; this is how Jennings plays it
on stage with a smaller band. The recorded version has more than one
electric guitar.]
