My Love Goes Free Jon Foreman
Now I realise the fact that the recording is piano only, so this is my
personal interpretation which I find works well when performing it. It
sounds pretty close for the most part... But in the "My love goes free"
part, I play C/Am7 which I think he just stays on Am7 after the first
switch and ends on C, but it sounds good when performing so I hope you
enjoy.
Oh and if you have a correction please post it and I'll check it out
and fix it up when I get the chance. Cheers!
Note: The D# chord can be played a few different ways, I'm simply putting
my preference to what I find easiest.
Tuning: Standard
Timing: 4/4
Chords:

The M[C]ovement [Csus]comes in [Gsus]slow
It's a [C]tune we [Csus]both should [Gsus]know
But the [C]walls are [Dm9]thin
So we [Fmaj7]keep our voices low[C] [/] [Csus] [/] [Gsus]
You're a [C]bird with a p[Csus]retty m[Gsus]outh
You're a [C]bird with [Csus]songs to s[Gsus]hout
And the s[C]ame ref[Dm9]rain conti[Fmaj7]nues
Singing out[Am7]
If you l[Fmaj7]ove her let her [C]go
If you [Gsus]love her let her [Am7]go
She sings [A#maj7]beautiful and s[F]low
A [D#]tune that only [Gsus]caged birds know[C] [/] [Csus] [/] [Gsus]
So you're in [C]Nashville [Csus]on the [Gsus]phone
And I[C]'m back [Csus]here at [Gsus]home
And the [C]words are [Dm9]new
But I r[Fmaj7]ecognise the tone[Am7]
If you [Fmaj7]love her let her [C]go[/] [Csus] [/] [Gsus] [/] [Am7]
If you [Fmaj7]love her let her [C]go
If you [Gsus]love her let her [Am7]go
She's b[A#maj7]eautifully comp[F]osed
A [D#]tune that only [Gsus]caged birds know[C] [/] [Csus] [/] [Gsus]
[C] [/] [Am7] My love goes [C]free...[Am7]
My love goes [C]free...[Am7]
My love goes [C]free...[Am7]
My love goes [C]free...
