Think you'll have better luck with a couple of changes to the chords listed here - which aren't bad - but there are a couple powerfull changes missing.
There is a B7 to Em progression that will punch up the bridge considerably -
it is also in the verse at least once ..... escapes me now -
basically , where it sounds weak , try the B7 to Em two or three times in a row - you'll get the idea.
Appreciate the site and those who take the time to post - this tune ( Love Hurts) happens to be a fave.
