Tuning:STANDARD
I saw Modern Baseball live last weekend, and I fell in love with them in only a
few short days. They opened with Tears Over Beers, so I searched for a tab and found
mostly chords/tabs that looked
similar to this;
E-------------------------------|-------------------------------| B-------------------------------|-------------------------------| G-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| D-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| A-4---------4---------6---------|-5---------5---------4---------| E-------------------------------|-------------------------------|

I found myself annoyed by a syndrome of sorts in my bones
It also turns out that this is how the lead singer plays while he is singing. However,
I was having trouble hitting the notes with my voice, so I wrote a tab that made it
easier to find your correct pitches. This tab also sounds more melodic and pleasing
to the ear- especially if you're playing alone.
I have tabbed the intro, and wrote the chords and lyrics for the rest of the song.
I will refer to the chords by their bass note, as the main notes (G#+C#) do not change
for the majority of the song.
C# x466xx
D x566xx
D# x666xx
F x866xx
F# x966xx
F#* 2x66xx -- if you cannot reach this, you can just play x966xx or whatever sounds good
to you.

She realized if she wants conversation, she's out of luck for three more years
When [C#]I was [D#]just a [F]boy, [F#]we'll call it [F]15 or [C#]so,
I [C#]found my[D#]self a[F]nnoyed by a [F#]syndrome of [F]sorts in my [C#]bones
That [C#]girl who's[D#] next to [F]me, she [F#]found herself [F]bored to [C#]tears
She [C#]realized if [D#]she wanted [F]conversation, she's[D] out of luck for[D] three more [C#]years
When I[C#] moved a[D#]way from [F]home, [F#]100 [F]miles or [C#]so,
I [C#]knew a [D#]change had [F]grown inside my [F#]awkwardly [F]long limbs and [C#]bones
That [C#]girl who's[D#] next to [F]me, she's [F#]friendly and [F]thoughtful and [C#]quite awfully pretty,
But [C#]all she [D#]has to [F]say is a [F#]meat head-themed [F]monologue on [D]why Brad ran away
C# D# F#*
She said, "All I can hope for is for me to get better,
C# D# F#*
because all I can take is no more.
I'll [C#]win him back a[D#]gain, we'll be [F]lovers, best [F#]friends.
He won't [C#]need no other [D#]woman like he [D]did way back when he was with [C#]me.
C# D# F#*
He needed more than me
I'm [C#]friendly and [D#]thoughtful and [F]quite awfully [F#]pretty,
But he [F]needed [D]more than [C#]me."
When I [C#]felt that [D#]I should [F]leave, [F#]we'll call it [F]midnight or [C#]so,
I [C#]found my[D#]self a[F]nnoyed by a [F#]syndrome of [F]sorts in her [C#]bones
That [C#]girl who's [D#]next to [F]me, she [F#]don't know her [F]worth in this [C#]town,
because her [C#]face starts to [D#]shine when that [F]meat head be[F#]hind me
Is [F]grinning as he's [D]checking her [C#]out
C# D# F#*
I said, "All I can hope for is for you to get better,
C# D# F#*
Because all I can take is no more.
I'll [C#]hide where I [D#]can, away from [F]you and your [F#]friends,
leaking [F]tears over [D]beers once a[C#]gain."
Thanks, please email me for suggestions/any notes I should take for future tabs, seeing
as this was my first guitar tab.
