Veriosn 2
Here are the chords used:
*** I added stuff in brackets and moved it 'round a bit
B G# D D F# G G Bmin Bmin F#maj *** Emaj Emin
e|-(0)(4)-----0-(0)--3--3---2----7------2----| ---0----0---| B|-(0)(4)-----3-(0)--3--3---3----7------2----| ---0----0---| G|--4-(4)--7--2-(3)--0--4---4----7------3----| ---1----0---| D|--4--6---7--0--4---0--5---4----9------4----| ---2----2---| A|--2--6---5--0--4---2--5---2----9------4----| ---2----2---| E|-----4--(5)----2---3--3---x----7------2----| ---0----0---|
*** Stuff in brackets is optional I guess. During the intro I strum
the lower (deeper) notes 3 times, then strum all of them on the 4th
strum. I love the sound of the F# with the high open notes. heh!
I don't think this is totally accurate, (I think he players the
chords higher up on the neck) but it's good enough for me :)
INTRO (guitar and vocals start)
[B]old world underground[Emaj], where are you now?
subtract my [Emin]age from the mileage on my[D] speeding heart[F#maj], credit cards,
[B]accelerate, accumulate,[G#] looked for you downtown
wound up in a [Emin]movie with no [G]story
[D]now it's late, an[F#maj]d you are nowhere to be found
VERSE Bass line:
G------------------------------|----------------------------------| D------------------------------|----------------------------------| A--2-2-5-2-2-5----2-2-5-2-0-5--|----------------------------------| E------------------------------|--3-3-7-3-3-7----3-3-7-3-3-7------| G------------------------------|----------------------------------| D------------------------------|----------------------------------| A------------------------------|----------------------------------| E--2-2-6-2-2-6----2-2-6-2-2-6--|--2-2-6-2-2-6----2-2-6-2-2-6------|
*** He's got this part right for the most part I think.
Might be a note different or something, but I usually just
strum full chords here anyways. It's much easier to sing
along with for me. But that's me. I'm going to split them up
into sections (parts), add a section he missed, and input
easier notes to hit if you don't like stretching your fingers
(like me). You can hit these notes instead of the ones
below them. These notes will be in brackets of course.
Part1
G----------------------------------| D-----(0)-----(0)------(0)-----(0)-| A--2-2-5-2-2---5----2-2-5-2-0---5--| E----------------------------------|
Part2

Part3
G----------------------------------| D----------------------------------| A-----(1)-----(1)------(1)-----(1)-| E--2-2-6-2-2---6----2-2-6-2-2---6--|
