Let Somebody In Magnum
Here it is, from Magnum's album Breath Of Life which came out in 2002. It's a beautiful
song, on the album done with a piano, but it sounds great on an acoustic guitar as well.
Magnum rocks!

Let Somebody In (Tony Clarkin)
---------------
When did you st[C]op looking [G]homeward
Deep in [F]trouble, end[C]lessly
Just like a gh[C]ost across the [G]water
You disa[F]ppeared qu[C]ietly
[Am]Now [G]everyday seems to [Am]long
And everything just goes w[G]rong
[Am]So when do you s[G]tart to live [Am]again
Oh what a [G]way for this to end
You better [C]let somebody in
No open [G]door to anything
You better [Am]let somebody in
The t[C]imes growing [Am]shorte[G]r
[C]Let somebody in
You're gonna l[G]ose it all again
You better [Am]let somebody in
Before your [C]blood turns to w[G]ater
Now you get [C]lost in your [G]own time
Hide your [F]secrets far [C]away
Don't count the [C]cost when you're [G]falling
Don't have the [F]answers so they[C] say
[Am]When [G]everyday brings you [Am]down
You're just a [G]face in the crowd
[Am]Cause you don't [G]try, you don't [Am]pretend
Oh what a [G]way for this to end
You better [C]let somebody in
No open [G]door to anything
You better [Am]let somebody in
The t[C]imes growing [Am]shorte[G]r
[C]Let somebody in
You're gonna l[G]ose it all again
You better [Am]let somebody in
Before your [C]blood turns to w[G]ater
[D]I thought that I [Bm]really knew you
But [D]that can't be r[A]ight
[D]And no one could e[Bm]ver find you
[D]Lost in the ni[A]ght
------Note: I haven't heard the song in a while, so I don't know if they really do the
refrain one pitch higher the last time. But I do that when I play, and it sounds better.
End of note-----
You better [D]let somebody in
No open [A]door to anything
You better [Bm]let somebody in
The t[D]imes growing [Bm]shorte[A]r
[D]Let somebody in
You're gonna l[A]ose it all again
You better [Bm]let somebody in
Before your [D]blood turns to w[A]ater
