Clouds by Hole
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A total massacre of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now", from Hole's 1991 debut
album 'Pretty on the Inside'. This is the closing track to the album, and is easy
to play. Just two chords, but if you want to capture the same sound on the album,
you'll need a wah pedal and a flanger to get that noisy sweeping effect. Play with
lots of distortion.

[G]Rows and [C]flows of [G]angel [C]hair
[G]And ice cream [C]castles [G]in the [C]air
[G]And feather [C]canyons[G] everywhere, [C]I've
[G]Looked at [C]clouds[G] [C]
That [G]way[C] [G] [C]
[G]Moons and [C]Junes and [G]ferris [C]wheels
[G]The dizzy [C]dancing [G]way you [C]feel when
[G]When every [C]fairytal[G]e comes [C]real, I've[G]
Looked [C]at clouds[G] [C]
That [G]way[C] [G] [C]
But [G]now they [C]only [G]block the [C]sun
[G]They rain and [C]snow [G]on everyon[C]e, so
[G]So many [C]things that [G]I could have [C]done, but
[G]Cloud[C]s g[G]ot i[C]n...
My [G]angel [C]dust gets in your [G]eyes and [C]hair
On [G]acid [C]stars, you're [G]getting [C]there
My body is [G]assembled into a [C]little gift to you
[G]When you [C]die, I've [G]looked at [C]life[G] [C]
That [G]way[C] [G] [C]
But [G]now it's [C]just [G]another [C]show
[G]You leave 'em [C]laughin[G]g when you [C]go
Don't, [G]don't let them [C]in, don't,
[G]Don't let them [C]know, don't,
[G]Give your[C]self [G]away[C] [G] [C]
Well, [G]now my [C]friends are [G]acting strang[C]e
[G]They shake their [C]heads, man, [G]they say I've [C]changed, well
[G]Well, something's [C]wrong and [G]rearrange[C]d
Fro[G]m livin[C]g every[G], every[C]
I've [G]looked at [C]life from [G]both sides [C]now
[G]From win and [C]lose and, [G]still some[C]how, it's
[G]It's life's [C]illusion[G]s I recall, [C]I
[G]I really [C]don't know
[G]I really [C]don't know
[G]I really [C]don't know
[G]I really [C]don't know
[G]I really [C]don't know know [G]life that [C]well[G] [C] [G]
[C]Count your stars, [G]say good[C]night
[G] [C] [G] [C] [G] [C] [G]
