Who Knows Where The Time Goes Fairport Convention
[E]Across the evening sky[A2] all the birds are le[E]aving[A2]
B[E]ut how can they kn[A2]ow it's time for them to g[E]o? [A2]
Be[F#m]fore the winter's f[G#m]ire,[A] I will still be dr[G#m]eamin'[A]
I have no thought of t[E]ime
CHORUS:
For w[B]ho knows where the tim[A]e goes?
Wh[E]o knows where the t[A]ime g[F#m]oes? [A] [E] [E] [A2] [E] [A2]
Sad, deserted shore, your fickle friends are leaving
Ah and yet they know it's time for them to go
But I will still be here, I have no thought of leaving
I do not count the time ...CHORUS
And I am not alone, while my love is near
And I know it will be so until it's time to go
So count the storms of winter and then the birds in spring again
I have no fear of time
CHORUS #2:
For who knows how my love grows?
And who knows where the time goes?
A2: x 0 2 2 0 0

This particular chart appears over and over again across the internet and it has one major mistake. In the third line of the verses, he has the sequence as F#m G#m A G#m A. In fact, the correct sequence is
F#m G#m Am G#m A.
