Throwing Your Voice  Damien Jurado

If you're playing with someone, try using C/G instead of C for a nice bass sound all around.
Also, play around with the bass notes when changing from C to Am (C - C/G - C/F# - C/E, etc).
Enjoy playing this great song :)
[C]I've got news for you: we all [Am]know
[F]Stop acting like you've never heard this [C]before
[C]Blood on your hands leaving your [Am]mark
[F]It's when you cross the line where the trouble [C]starts
[C]Michael you had a voice that learned [Am]to lie
[F]It was the day that I fell apart that we almost [C/G]died
[C]I would like to think people [Am]change
[F]But I've seen no evidence or the point it [C]made
[F]You can [C]come back [E]when you [F]need
[C]Michael I've had enough it's time [Am]to go
[F]They're making it clear they don't want you [C]here
[C]You can throw your voice all you [Am]like
[F]I don't want to see you return any[C]time
[C]Shake off your doubt, grab a [Am]hold
[F]Sometimes the hardest part is letting you [C]go
[C]You can always come back when you [Am]need
[F]I'll leave the light, leave the light [C]on
[F]You can [C]come back [E]when you [F]need
