Fragile Bird - City and Colour
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Song: Fragile Bird
Artist: City and Colour
Album: Little Hell
Tabbed by: Nathan Chancellor
Email: natechancellor@gmail.com
Tuning: EADGBE - Capo 3 or 5
Notes:
1. On the capo situation, Dallas has played both. It really depends on your range. The
studio version has a capo on 5 and he started playing it live that
way; however in the recent months, he has played it with a capo on 3 to save his voice.
Your choice.
2. When playing the Em chord in the chorus, strum the open strings and hammer on the two
fingers shortly after. He tends to do this in a few songs, Comin'
Home and Northern Wind come to mind.
3. He does a minor pull off hammer on type thing in the chorus (he strums slightly
rapidly while moving his finger) that I will tab in the chords. Watch the videos to get it.
He also varies it between performances, I give what I think is the most general
one that sounds best.
4. Put heavy palm muting during the verse, taking it off when you are repeating it for
the time right before the chorus so the chords ring out
