Tom the Model Beth Gibbons
Standard Tuning, didn't really find a correct version on this one, so decided to sink
my teeth into it, pretty sure most of it is correct, the open bright E-string on the
Bm-chord might be opened for discussion, but i'm pretty sure i'm hearing it. Difficult
to get this one a 100% correct, cause the chords are hidden quite good, but this will
work great both when playing along with beth, and on your own.Enjoy!
Some chords to notice:
There are different ways to play a D6, preferred here are this one:
[D6]x
0
[2]0
[2]x
Another weird chord i'm ABSOLUTELY sure is in the start of 2nd verse, even how weird it
might look Guess you can call it like : "BmMaj7Add11"-ish thing:
[BmMaj7] 0
[3]
[3]
[4]
[2]x
And here's how they play some other chords, so you get just the right sound:
Bm: Bm7: Em7:
0 2 7
3 3 8
[4] [2] [7]
[4] [4] [9]
[2]x [2]x [7]0
The rest of them are pretty basic, as you probably can hear. Notice the rather significant
differences between the first and second verse, so you dont just play them the same way.
Intro: basically just pluck around on your average Bm-chord, you can hit
the 5th fret on your D-string from time to time, and also play down into
the verse like 5-4-3-2-on your a-string to make a bridge into the verse.
just when the voice kicks in. Just play around really, its a pretty loose
song when it comes to selecting which tones to add to your chords for more
texture.
[Bm]How can I forget your t[Em]ender smile

You know you don't ever have to worry 'bout me
I'd do it again
[F]So tired of life
[C]No fairytale
[Dm]So hold your fire

You know you don't ever have to worry 'bout me
I'd do it again
