King of the Hill eLi
Song:King of the Hill by Eli
The last two versions of King of the Hill was very well tabbed, But I found
it difficult to follow as I played along with the CD and there were too many
riffs to remember.
However I did figured out an easier way to play the song which sounds
very close to the CD and can be played along with the music easier.
Riff 1,Intro, verse, chorus:
e---- 0---------0-----------0------ B--------0---------0------------0-- G-------6---------6---------------- D---6---------6---------6h7---6---6 A--4---------0--------------------- E----------------------0-----------
Riff 2, for the end of each paragraph for the verses:
e-----0---------0------------0---- B--------0---------0-------------- G-------6---------6------------9-- D---6---------6----------6h7---9-- A--4---------------------------7-- E------------7---------0-------0--
Riff 3, for the bridge part in the middle of verse 2:
e-----0---------0---------0------0--------0---------0----- B--------0---------0---------0-4---4---------0---------0-- G-------6---------6---------6-------4-------6---------6--- D---6---------6---------6---------------6---------6------- A--4---------4-------------------------------------------- E----------------------7---------------5---------7--------
After you play Riff 3 go directly back to riff 1
Listen to the CD carefully and you'll understand when to play these riffs.
End the song with this strum:
e-x
B-x
[G-9]
[D-9]
[A-7]E-0
mostly your left hand will be in this easy position for most of the time:
e-
[B-]
[G-6]
[D-6]
[A-4]
[E-]If you have any questions you can e-mail me at breadandjelly@hotmail.com
Have fun playing Christian music and praising our Lord!
