Rainbow Valley Love Affair
A classic song from a band that had a stream of hits in the 60's.
Most of their songs were penned by Phillip Goodhand-Tait. However this was a Buzz
Cason/M.Gayden song. Their songs were big productions with lots of orchestration.
Although a
big success they were heavily criticised by the media for not playing their instruments
on some of their recordings, relying on session musicians and an orchestra. However I saw
them live in the late 60's and found them to be a good live band with plenty of energy
and some great guitar work by Rex Brayley with Steve Ellis adding a vocal sound which
still today takes some beating.
If any of the band, (Steve Ellis, Rex Brayley, Mike Jackson, Mo Bacon or Morgan Fisher)
get to see this tab please drop me an email - love to hear from you, and please correct
any mistakes I've made!!

Intro
[G]I'm headin' home again 'cause it seems I don't fit in
And the world ain't all I thought that it would be
There's a place I know that's paradise to me
Verse 1
The [C]sun always [Am]shines down in [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
There's [C]one that's always [Am]mine down in [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
You can [G]love and share a dream beside that crystal stream
So [F]meet me where the [G]rainbow ends in [F]our [G]valley
Verse 2
[C]Bird's sweetest [Am]song comes from [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
They [C]sing the whole year [Am]long down in [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
The [G]flowers speak to me and say our love should be
And [F]heaven knows sweet [G]music flows [F]from our [G]valley
Verse 3
[C]I'll never [Am]leave I be[F]long in Rainbow [G]Valley
For [C]life to love is [Am]free there's no [F]wrong in Rainbow [G]Valley
If [G]ever we can fly through the cotton candy sky
So[F] meet me where the [G]rainbow ends [F]in our [G]valley
Verse 4
The [C]sun always [Am]shines down in [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
There's [C]one that's always [Am]mine down in [F]my Rainbow [G]Valley
You can [G]love and share a dream beside that crystal stream
So [F]meet me where the [G]rainbow ends [F]in our [G]valley
There's a key change at the end but I'll let you sort that out!
