Girls and Boys in School  Neon Trees

Hey guys, just to preface, I know this isn't exactly, 100% how the song is played, but
would be because the song is overflowing with synth, with little to no guitar to be
Thus, this is how I arranged/transcribed the song for myself, to be played on one
You guys can change/play it any way you want, this is just to give a rough outline, with my
thrown in. All in all, awesome song from an awesome band
Oh, and this my first tab, so try not to be too harsh :D

 ----------------------------------------------

Intro bit (synth)

 E----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 A----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 D-X-11-11-11-X-11-11-11-X-11-11-11-11-11-11----------------------------|
 G----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 B----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 E----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 ----------------------------------------------

Verse:
The only chord I'm hearing in the verse is a very affected/processed C#5, so I just
strum it as a sixth string root powerchord with an 8th note feel....

 ----------------------------------------------

Chorus:
In the chorus, instead of going in and figuring out the chords, I just pick the melody:

 E-----------------------------------------------------------|
 A-----------------------------------------------------------|
 D----------6-6---6-4----------------------------------------|
 G-6-6-3-6-3----3----------6-3-6-3-6-3-6---3-----------------|
 B---------------------------------------4-------------------|
 E-----------------------------------------------------------|

That being said, if you want a chord progression to strum, one that works (not
what they do) would be:
[C#m]questions for questions
[F#m]I've got a question
[G#m]would you ever dance with me like that

 ----------------------------------------------

End of Second Verse Synth Line (This one's REALLY buried in the mix, listen closely at
just like all your paper cuts..."):

 E-9----------------------------------------------------------------------|
 A------------------------------------------------------------------------|
 D--9-7-6---6-7-6---------------------------------------------------------|
 G--------9---------------------------------------------------------------|
 B------------------------------------------------------------------------|
 E------------------------------------------------------------------------|
 ----------------------------------------------

Bridge:
The guitar lick after "I said to this end, don't hurt your best friend...
First time around:

 E-9-------9-------------|
 A-----------------------|
 D--13-11----13-11-------|
 G-----------------------|
 B-----------------------|
 E-----------------------|

Second:

 E-9-------9------------------------------------|
 A----------------------------------------------|
 D--11-9----11-9--------------------------------|
 G----------------------------------------------|
 B----------------------------------------------|
 E----------------------------------------------|
 -----------------------------------------------|
