[D]Well I remember when he called me little man,
[D7]This old friend of mine I never knew I h[G]ad...he was my gra[D]nddad.
Hey, that old man in the corner ain't so tough.
[D7]He'd stand so quite never showing what it w[G]as he was m[D]ade of.
- [A]He said that all good things m[G]ust have an e[D]nd.
[A]He said someday we might a[G]ll meet ag[A]ain in He[D]aven. -
- - "[G]Well I've got everything I [D]need",
[F#]That's what my grandpa said to [Bm]me.
I said, "S[G]omeday I'll have all that, t[D]oo.
Then you'll s[A]ee, I wanna [G]be just like y[D]ou...
Well I wanna [G]be just like y[D]ou." [G]- -[D]
[D]Wasn't so long ago, we were out there on the road.
[D7]This ole man and me,
We'd take our travels to the s[G]ea and fill our dr[D]eams.
Now he'd walk slowly through all the dreams he knew.
[D7]He'd tell me stories of everyone great he k[G]new
And they were just like y[D]ou.

** I capoed this on the 2nd fret because of the change between
the D and the D7. I think they have more of a different sound
than the E and E7. You can play it whichever way you like...
I'll add the chord formations for either way. The first set is
for use with the capo, the second without.
CHORDS
w/o E = 022100
E7 = 020100
A = X02220
B = XX4442
G# = X66544
C#m = XX6544
enjoy :)
