CAGED applies to all keys, and is a great way to learn the entirety of the fretboard.   You can use CAGED to be within three frets of any chord on the neck.

It's a great system.

that's right

The chord grouping is not specific for one key... it can be done for any key...
and the caged theory can also be applied to scales
