Still Remains  Stone Temple Pilots

S.T.P - "Still Remains"
From the Album Purple
Words by Weiland
Music by DeLeo and DeLeo
Transcribed by Travis Miguez <tre@unixg.ubc.ca>
A few notes:
This is only my interpretation of the song. The actual guitar
part is much more complex and may even involve alternate
tunings. My version is based for an acoustic guitar (i.e.
those camping trips) as I have tried to include base notes
which may or may not be actually played by Dean. If you are
looking for the note for note version of this song - buy the
book!!!!!
P.S. If your fingers are squeeky clean - then so too will
your song be as there is along of fingertip sliding.
Janna Leigh Mount - If you should die before me, ask if you
could bring a friend.
Intro:

with not sliding your finger up by just
creating a pseudo-A(add 4) with your
4th finger bridging the two strings.
and the last two chords of the intro are of the form:
| 1 | | | | just reverse your last two fingers.

Making love and I become you
Flesh is warm with naked feet
Stabbing thorns and you become me

Pick a song and sing a yellow nectarine
Take a bath I'll drink the water that you leave
If you should die before me ask if you could bring a friend
[F]Pick a [G]flower, hold your [Dsus2]breath and drift [A]away...
To verse:
She holds my hand we share a laugh
Sipping orange blossom breezes
Love is still and sweat remains
A cherished gift unselfish feeling
Oh, Id beg for you
Oh, You know I'd beg for you
Chorus
Interlude
('A' chord played over and over here)
Verse 3:
She tells me things, I listen well
Drink the wine and save the water
Skin is smooth, I steal a glance
Dragon flies are gliding over
Oh, I'd beg for you
Oh, You know I'd beg for you.
Chorus
