a.k.a. I'D'I'O'T  The Hives

1. try to use the "suggested" rhythm as shown below the tabs
v=downstroke
^=upstroke
2. the counting is included to help (if you need it)
1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 e + a <---equals one measure
3. i've included the chord names and note names
E (capital letter = chord)
e (small letter = single note) (why would i do this? i don't know)
4. try this out...if you "hear" or "feel" a different/better
rhythm pattern..let me know

 lead in |<--repeat this intro figure------4 times--------------------------->|

4 e a 1 + a 2 e + a 3 e + 4 3 a 1 + 2 e + a 4 e a
the first verse part...goes from E to G to C (then somehow back to E) *repeat*
there is a whole step down from the E to a D (as a transition to the G)
again..that D is called as a transition from the G to the C (listen for it)
then somehow...after the C..im "assuming" that it uses that intro riffy thing
for the E-G-E thing....but again...its hard for me to hear with all that
*** drumming!
:)
so..this is what im "hearing"...again...let me know if you
find something wrong in there

1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 + 1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 e + a
im getting too lazy to be so tab-like...
so you get the picture (16th notes....strum down up down up)...etc...
chorus
[E-D-G-E](that 2nd E, you can hear a bass do a little descending thing)
if you want...try these notes...B,A,G,E
(on the three and four and) of the last bar (at about 00:40 - 00:41)
repeat the intro figure twice
on the last bar of the 2nd time..take a knife
and stab your speaker cone....to get that crazy
lo-fi sound at about 00:57 to 00:58
(k, dont do that...but maybe just switch
to your neck pickup really fast and have the
tone set really low)
VERSE 2 (repeat verse figure above)
repeat chorus
bass only
repeat chorus
end with something similar to the intro riff
