Intro: B F# G#m E B F#
[B] Goodbye [F#] four leaf [G#m]clovers [E] Hello [B] gone [F#]awry
[B] Don't cry [F#] the fight ain't [G#m]over [E] Unless you [B]let it pass you [F#]by
[B] I'm looking for a [F#]song to sing[G#m]
I'm looking for a [E]friend to [F#]borrow
[B] I'm looking for my [F#]radio [G#m] so I might find a [E]heart to [F#]follow
[B] I've never been just [F#]longing for your loving[G#m]
I've never been just [E]wearing down to [F#]nothing
[B] I've never been just [F#]looking for a reason[G#m]
So that maybe [E]you'd be thinking [F#]of me[B] [F#] [G#m] [E] [F#]
All that I have found in reason Is reason just to not believe
When all that you're left is treason It's treason just to let it be
I'm looking for a song to sing
I'm looking for a friend to borrow
I'm looking for my radio so I might find a heart to follow
I've never been just longing for your loving
I've never been just wearing down to nothing
I've never been just looking for a reason
So that maybe you'd be thinking of me
These [E]blue yonder dreams and [B]second hand shoes
You're [F#]so far gone that you [B]live to lose
[E]It's too late to [B]go home all a[G#m]lone[F#]
[E]You're the tar in that [B]old cigar
And the [F#]worn out cable on a [B]cable car
And [E]you're too tired to [B]admit you've got to [F#]choose
I'm looking for a song to sing
I'm looking for a friend to borrow
I'm looking for my radio so I might find a heart to follow
I've never been just longing for your loving
I've never been just wearing down to nothing
I've never been just looking for a reason
So that maybe you'd be thinking of me
-I honestly cried the first time I heard that song! How sad.
And sincere too. That's how it should be. It's a great song
on piano, but it also sounds cool on guitar. As always, you
can e-mail me at any time with any questions, comments or
suggestions. Enjoy!
