Could someone please help me understand how to read the lead notes?

This isn't from the live album. It's from the original Hotel California album. The Live version is similar but theres no fade and the fills are a little different (Felder's in particular because of his double neck not having the appropriate number of frets) and the end of the solo when it repeats. The second time through it they do some bend thing through it. I havn't quite figured it out well enough to post it yet.

Hi all,
I am new and have no idea about the fill/solo lines in the piece. Can someone help me out with an explanation. I am truly sorry if this is dumb, but I want to learn the whole thing..Thanks in advance

I'm sorry I learned by using my ear and don't know anything about tabs and such...if anyone could lead me to somewhere an ear player might be able to learn reading tabs and such, I'd be very appreciated.

The intro is the same chords for the verses but you have to pick it instead of strumming...listen to the acoustic song for this and you'll here the intro for it....it sounds ok I guess...I'm still fairly new but give it a try..have fun!

Brilliant! Nice and easy to play chords - haven't tried the lead bit . . . yet!!

Replace all the E chords with E9 chords and it will be more correct.
