The author is actually Glen Hansard and not The Frames, from what I recall.
Also, the words in the beginning are "you'll make it now" instead of "you make it known", then later they are correct.

Ok, a slight add-on to the strum, you can do an all Down strum if you're quick enough, but it'll sound just the tiniest bit different.

When the chorus starts, the strum seems to go D D D U D U and then repeats. On the Am chord (on the second chorus) at 'choice', though, it's only a quick D D, so it's only something like a quarter-measure, where D D D U D U is considered one full measure.
Also, on the fifth line ("Games that never amount to more than their worth"), 'worth' is actually 'meant' (so it goes "Games that never amount to more than they're meant").
