To ge[Am]t this haiku[D] just rig[Em]ht all nigh[A]t
For you[Em]; alrigh[A]t I’m t[D]hrough
M[G]aybe this poem
Was lost[Am] in the sauce[D] we spilled[G]
Tha[Am]t never go[D]t refilled
I[G]’ve never thought much
Of formu[Am]laic ver[D]se anyway[G]
An[Am]d rhymes are no[D]t my forte
I[G] have been trying
To ge[Am]t this haiku[D] just rig[Em]ht all nigh[A]t
