There Will Be a Day  Jeremy Camp

Capo 4th fret to play with his recording. If you would like to sing it lower then
simply move the capo down however much needed. Chords relative to the capo
placement. The () around the A/C# is optional...if you listen he hits that note
but if your going to be playing chords you have to be able to switch to the A/C#
fairly fast to get back to the Bm.
Intro:
Bm, G, D/F#, A/C# x2
Verse 1:
[Bm]I try to hold on [G]to this w[D/F#]orld with everyt[(A/C#)]hing I h[Bm]ave
But I feel the we[G]ight of [D/F#]what it brings, and the hurt that [A/C#)]trys to g[Bm]rab
The many trials that s[G]eem to [D/F#]never end, His word dec[(A/C#)]lares this t[Bm]ruth,
that we will enter [G]in this [D/F#]rest with won[(A/C#)]ders anew [G]
Pre-Chorus:
[G]But I hold on[D/F#] to this[Asus4] hope and the promise [D/F#]that He br[G]ings
That there will be a p[D/F#]lace with[Asus4] no more suffering
Chorus:
There will be a d[G]ay with no more t[Bm]ears, no more [Asus4]pain, and no more f[Dsus4]ears
There will be a d[G]ay when the burdens of this p[Bm]lace, will be no [Asus4]more,
we'll see Jesus face to f[D]ace
But u[Bm]ntil that [A/C#]day, [G] we'll hold on to you always

Verse 2:
[Bm]I know the journey s[G]eems so [D/F#]long
You feel your walkin[(A/C#)]g on your [Bm]own
But there has never b[G]een a [D/F#]step
Where you've walked out[(A/C#)] all al[Bm]one
Verse 3:
Troubled soul don't l[G]ose your h[D/F#]eart
Cause joy and p[(A/C#)]eace he br[Bm]ings
And the beauty th[G]at's in [D/F#]store
Outweighs the hurt of [(A/C#)]life's sting[G]
Pre-Chorus:
[G]But I hold on[D/F#] to this[Asus4] hope and the promise [D/F#]that He br[G]ings
That there will be a p[D/F#]lace with[Asus4] no more suffering
Chorus:
There will be a d[G]ay with no more t[Bm]ears, no more [Asus4]pain, and no more f[Dsus]ears
There will be a d[G]ay when the burdens of this p[Bm]lace, will be no [Asus4]more,
we'll see Jesus face to f[D]ace
But u[Bm]ntil that [A/C#]day, [G] we'll hold on to you always
Bridge:
[Bm]I can’t wait until that day where the v[G]ery one I’ve lived for always
Will w[D/F#]ipe away the sorrow that I’ve [Asus4]faced
[Bm]To touch the scars that rescued me from a l[G]ife of shame and misery
oh [D/F#]this is why, this is why [Asus4]I sing
