Start Today Tomorrow  Youth Group

This is similar to the drop D version but doesn't require
changing the guitar tuning. If you have a capo that can do
this, clip it on so that it covers all the strings EXCEPT
the high e string. That way, when you play the "D" in this
song, you can switch on and off the high e string to get
that nice open e note in the song.
Capo 2nd fret.
[Em]The summer rain is falling
Like its never going to stop here it's been [D]ages.
[Em]Puddles form on city corners
Businessmen they leap
Between the [D]edges.
[Em]Mmmmm... Mmmm [D]mmmm.
Um[Em]brellas take up battle spots
But nature's fury always proves much [D]stronger.
And I've been [Em]sitting in my room
Wondering if I'm going to last much [D]longer.
And [G]I've [G/F#]been [Em]so [D]damn [A]sure
That [Bm]I've been here [A]before.
I'll [G]give [G/F#]back [Em]what [D]I [A]borrowed
And start today to[D]morrow.
[Em]I've been watching over you
Watching while you're [D]sleeping.
[Em]Visions slowly come to me
Of you when you were [D]sixteen,
[Em]Standing in your neighbour's house
Like the ones I've [D]shown you.
[Em]Sometimes I get the feeling
That I've always [D]known you.
And [G]I've [G/F#]been [Em]so [D]damn [A]sure
That [Bm]I've been here [A]before.
I'll [G]rise [G/F#]a....[Em]bove [D]my [A]sorrow
And start today to[Bm]morrow.
[D] Ye[Bm]ah...[G] [E]
The r[G]ain's [G/F#]gone, [Em]here [D]come the [A]swallows.
