Goodbye Little Alarm Clock  Tripod

Mornin' people! This is correct, but for the effect of really staccato notes (without
ringing untouched strings) bar on the chords instead of playing open string G for
example.
G B7 C D G7 - D7 (can be used instead of D)

 E--3----2----3----5----3----5----
 B--3----4----5----7----3----7----
 G--4----2----5----7----4----5----
 D--5----4----5----7----3----7----
 A--5----2----3----5----5----5----
 E--3----2----3----5----3----5----

[G]Goodbye little a[B7]larm clock
[C]You've given me great [D7]time
But [G]lately times been s[B7]lipping away from
[C]You[D]
[C]Why you've [D]given up on
[G]Me... I don'[B7]t know
[C]Alarm clock don't be [D]sour
You're [C]losing all your [D]power
It's [C]your eleventh [D]hour time to
[G]Go
I [G]got you when I was [B7]ten
[C]Things were simpler [G]then
You [C]woke me up in [D]time for the early bird
[G]Show
And [G]later on that [B7]day
You [C]woke me up [G]OK
In [C]time for Simon *[D]Townsend's
"Wonder [G]world"
I slept a [C]lot as a kid
Oh alarm clock [G]all the things we did
But [C]you didn't do much, you [C]just sat there making
[D]Noise and now that's what I do for a living.
[G]Goodbye little a[B7]larm clock
You've [C]given me great [D]time
But l[G]ately time's been s[B7]lipping away from
[C]You[D]
[C]Why you've [D]given up on
[G]Me... I don'[B7]t know
[C]Alarm clock don't be [D]sour
You're l[C]osing all your p[D]ower
It's y[C]our eleventh [D]hour time to
[G]Go
And when my [G]teenage years un[B7]furled
When [C]I brought home a [G]girl
You [C]sat and watched and [D]never judged me
[G]Once
But no [G]matter who it [B7]was
[C]They came second be[G]cause
[C]Alarm clock it's always [D]your face that I
[G]Saw [G7]
I was a [C]pretty weird kid
They said I [G]loved you and I did
But they can [C]keep their skateboard's coz you go [C]backwards and forwards
[D]Not unlike words like Glenelg or boob...
**p.m: G B7 C D
"Goodbye alarm clock, goodbye. How could I ever replace you? Maybe I should get one of
those... atomic clocks... that would suit me just well."**
[C]Why you've [D]given up on
[G]Me... I don'[B7]t know
[C]Alarm clock don't be s[D]our
You're l[C]osing all your p[D]ower
It's y[C]our eleventh [D]hour time to
[G]Go
"Goodbye alarm clock, goodbye..."
*Townsends = Im not sure of the word they use here - some guy's last name... it sounds
like a whole range of words, use what ever you want here ;)
** = This bit is just said, and in some very weird rhythm, Scod just plays over the top
of Gatesy's talking.
