Born Again  Third Day

Tabbed by: Sara Walker
Standard Tuning
This is a great Third Day song! The entire song is four chords G, D, Em, and C.
I tabbed out the strumming pattern the way I play it and some of the electric guitar
parts. I think it?s pretty accurate. This is my first tab so I hope it makes sense. Feel
free to rate/comment.

VERSE:
(Continue same strumming acoustic pattern. There are some electric parts over the verses
but I don?t have those tabbed out.)
[G]Well today I found myself, after se[D]arching all these years.
And the [Em]man that I saw, he wasn?t at all who I t[C]hought it?d be.
Well I was l[G]ost when you found me here, and I was b[D]roken beyond repair.
Then [Em]you came along and you sang a song o[C]ver me.
CHORUS:
(Similar acoustic strumming)
It feels like I?m [G]born again. Feels like I?m [D]livin?
For the very [Em]first time, for the very [C]first time in my [G]life.
PREVERSE: Play G chord
2nd VERSE
[G]Make a promise to me now. Reas[D]sure my heart somehow,
That the [Em]love that I feel, it is more real than a[C]nything.
I have a [G]feeling in my soul, and I [D]pray that I?m not wrong
That the [Em]life I have now, it is only the b[C]eginning.
2nd CHORUS
(Similar acoustic strumming as last chorus. Chords are also played on an electric guitar
with distortion. Play them once and let them ring out.)
It feels like I?m [G]born again. Feels like I?m [D]livin?
For the very [Em]first time, for the very [C]first time in my [G]life.
It feels like I?m [G]breathing (feels like I?m born again)
Feels like I?m [D]moving (feels like I?m livin?)
For the very [Em]first time. (for the very first time)
For the very [C]first time. (for the very first time)
BRIDGE:
(Acoustic chords are played for a shorter amount of time)
Distorted electric guitar is something like;

 E--3-3-3--|
 B--0-0-0--|
G--0-0-0--| ...and so on through the other chords
 D--0-0-0--|
 A--2-2-2--|
 E--3-3-3--|

[G]Wasn?t looking for [D]something that was [Em]more than what I had [C]yesterday
[G]Then you came to me and you [D]gave to me
[Em]Life and love that I?ve [C]never known, that I?ve never felt before.
LAST CHORUS:
(Acoustic chords stops. Clean electric chords are played once.)
It feels like I?m [G]born again. (feels like I?m born again)
Feels like I?m l[D]ivin? (feels like I?m livin?)
For the very [Em]first time (for the very first)
I?m livin? for the [C]first time. (for the very first)
(At ?breathing? the distorted electric and the acoustic guitar come back in.)
It feels like I?m [G]breathing (feels like I?m born again)
It feels like I?m [D]moving (feels like I?m livin?)
For the very [Em]first time (for the very first)
I?m livin? for the [C]first time. (for the very first)
In my [G]life.
