Castles in the Sand  The Philosopher Kings

This is my first chord writing. Pretty close to the recording.
The D-X mark is meaning that the X stops the strings (hitting the strings once) for a
beat before going back into the G. It's kind of a quick 3 strum on the G & D. (G G G D D D X)
NO CAPO!
G D - X x3
(da da da da da etc)
[G]Built a perfect [D]house in a perfect t[Em]own
[G]Dreamt a perfect d[D]ream and it all fell [Em]down
[C]We held on tight like [D]hungry lovers
[Em]Watched the day break from be[D]neath the covers
[G]Had to know for [D]sure what it's all [Em]about
[C]Oh, [D]this should be [G]easy
[C]Oh, [D]just tell me we're [G]happy
[D]Just building castles in the [G]sand
G D - X x3
(da da na na, da da na na)
I saw the naked light and it burned my eyes
Couldn't look away, no matter how I tried
I watched you explode when you think it's over
Burst in colour like a super nova
Had to track you down, had to find you out
Oh, this should be easy
Oh, just tell me we're happy
Just building castles in the sand
G D - X x3
Just building castles in the sand
[G]The tides roll in [Em]and waves get [C]closer
[C]And knock us [G]over and we get [D]stronger every time
We build our castles in the [G]sand
[G]Built a perfect [D]house in a perfect [Em]town
[G]Dreamt a perfect [D]dream and it all fell [Em]down
[C]Oh, [D]just tell me we're [G]happy[D]
Just building castles in the sand
G D - X x3 (Till Fade out)
Just building castles in the sand
Just building castles in the sand
Just building castles in the sand
