Stay Out of Trouble - Kings of Convenience

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed by: lozenger
Tuning: EADGBe - Capo 1st.
Another great song, thoughtful stuff.
Here are the chords I use:
[Amaj7] [B6] [C#m7] [F#m7] [G#m7]

 e||--0----2----4----2----4--||
 B||--2----0----5----2----4--||
 G||--1----1----4----2----4--||
 D||--2----1----6----2----4--||
 A||--0----2----4----4----6--||
 E||-----------------2----4--||

> If you see a * after a chord name, then just strum it once!
The strumming pattern is more or less like this for the first guitar, guitar 2
can sort of pick the same chords, erm, 'pensively' or something, as well. Make
sure one guitar emphasizes the bass notes!
[Amaj7] [B6]

 e||--------0-------0-------0-----0----|--------2-------2-------2-------||
 B||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2-----2-0-0--|----0-0-----0-0-----0-0---------||
 G||----1-1-----1-1-----1-1-----1-0-0--|----1-1-----1-1-----1-1---------||
 D||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2-----2-0-0--|----1-1---1---------1-1---------||
 A||--0---------------0----------------|--2---------------2-------------||
 E||----------0---------------0--------|--------------------------2--4--||

[Amaj7]I walked around for hours, [B6]two ten pence pieces in my
[Amaj7]hand........[B6].............[Amaj7]I was alone and freezing,
[B6]still trying hard to under[Amaj7]stand you........[B6]........
[Amaj7]I left the others knowing [B6]I had to work this by my-
[Amaj7]self...........[B6]..........[Amaj7]But now the feeling's growing,
[B6]I would be better off with their [Amaj7]help.........[B6]........
Amaj7* B6* Amaj7* B6
So baby, what we've got.....has lately,...............
not been [Amaj7]enough....[B6].....not been [Amaj7]enough.......[B6]........
> (Violin Part) just keep plodding on with Amaj7 to B6 etc.
Amaj7* B6*
I wish I had your scarf still, that once embraced,
and kept me [Amaj7]warm...............[B6]..................
[Amaj7]I wish you could be with me, [B6]in these last days
when I am [Amaj7]still...............hopelessly [B6]poor......
> Stick with B6 for the bridge, then go on to play this:
|| Stay out................of trouble,..stay....in......touch........... ||
[C#m7] [B6] [Amaj7]

 e||--------4-------4-------4----------|--------1-------1-------0----------||
 B||----5-5-----5-5-----5-5-----5---5--|----0-0-----0-0-----2-2-----2-0-0--||
 G||----4-4-----4-4-----4-4-----4---4--|----1-1-----1-1-----1-1-----1-0-0--||
 D||----6-6-----6-6-----6-6---6-----6--|----1-1---1---------2-2---2---0-0--||
 A||--4---------------4-----------4----|--2---------------0-----------0----||
 E||----------4------------------------|-----------------------------------||

> And then carry on with this pattern for now...
[C#m7]Try not to think about [B6]me....too....[Amaj7]much.
[C#m7]Stay out of trouble, [B6]stay....in....[Amaj7]touch,
[C#m7]Try not to think about [B6]me....too....[F#m7]much.
From that last 'too much', play this:
[F#m7] [G#m7]

 e||--------2-------2-------2----------|--------4-------4-------4----------||
 B||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2-----2---2--|----4-4-----4-4-----4-4-----4---4--||
 G||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2-----2---2--|----4-4-----4-4-----4-4-----4---4--||
 D||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2-----2---2--|----4-4-----4-4-----4-4-----4---4--||
 A||----------4---------------4--------|----------6---------------6--------||
 E||--2---------------2-----------2----|--4---------------4-----------4----||

[F#m7] [C#m7] [B6]

 e||--------2-------2-------2-------|--------4-------4-------4-------1--||
 B||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2---------|----5-5-----5-5-----5-5-----0-0----||
 G||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2---------|----4-4-----4-4-----4-4-----1-1----||
 D||----2-2-----2-2-----2-2---------|----6-6---6---------6-6-----1-1----||
 A||----------4---------------2--3--|--4---------------4-------2--------||
 E||--2---------------2-------------|-----------------------------------||

The violin part afterwards follows these chords:
[Amaj7] [B6] [Amaj7] [B6]
[F#m7] [G#m7] [F#m7] [C#m7] [B6]
Amaj7 B6 Amaj7 B6 Amaj7 B6 Amaj7 (fade)
Hope you like the tab, sorry there's no specific second guitar part, but from
the live stuff I've heard, it's pretty much just tasteful improv stuff anywho!
Enjoy :)
