Long Black Train  Misc. Gospel

[G]There's a long black train, comin down the line,
Feeding off the souls that are[Em] lost and[G] cryin'
[G]Rails of sin only evil remains,
Watch out brother for that [D]long black t[G]rain,
[G]Look to the heavens you can look to the sky,
You can find redemption staring back in[Em]to your [G]eyes,
[G]There is protection and there's peace the same,
Burning your ticket for that[D] long black [G]train,
(chorus)
[G]Cause there's victory in the Lord I say,
Victory in the [D]Lord,
[Em]Cling to the f[G]ather and his [C]holy [G]name,
And[Em] don't go[G] ridin on that[D] long black [G]train,

[G]There's an engineeer on that long black train,
Making you wonder if your ride is [Em] worth the [G]pain,
[G]He's just a waitin' on your heart to say,
Let me ride on that [D]long black t[G]rain
(chorus)

[G]Well I can hear the whistle from a mile away,
It sounds so good but I must [Em]stay[G] away,
[G]That train is a beauty makin everybody stare,
But its only destination is the m[D]iddle of n[G]owhere,

(chorus)
[Em]Cling to the F[G]ather and his [C]holy [G]name,
And[Em] don't go [G]ridin on that [D]long black [G]train,
Yea [Em]watch out [G]brother for that [D]long black t[G]rain,
That[Em] devil's d[G]rivin' that [D]long black train,

Tommy Allen (report)

Second verse says
"There's an engineer..."
not "engine there..."
and it should be "Vic'try" not "Victory"
in the chorus. Love your arrangement!
